Registration is now available for the Youth Sports Festival and Seminars at Stanford University on Saturday, June 25, 2005. This one-day community event includes sports clinics, seminars, famous guest speakers and interactive exhibits, plus appearances by some of the greatest athletes in Stanford history. Everything is free and open to the public.
You can now register on-line for clinics in baseball, softball, soccer and basketball as well as an All-Comers swim meet and two tennis tournaments. Children 8-14 are invited to participate. The first 1,000 to register will receive a free T-shirt.
Some of the greatest Stanford athletes of all-time will participate in various activities throughout the day, including Mark Madsen, former All-America basketball player and two-time NBA World Champion; Troy Walters, former All-America football player and current member of the Indianapolis Colts; and Olympic silver medalist and swimming All-America Tara Kirk.
