Chris Minaker And David Stringer Lead Stanford's Pac-10 All-Academic Picks

Walnut Creek, Calif. - Chris Minaker (3.75 GPA, Sociology) and David Stringer (3.91 GPA, Undeclared) earned First Team Pac-10 All-Academic honors to lead eight Stanford players honored by the conference on Thursday. Matt Manship (3.17 GPA, Economics), Jim Rapoport (3.08 GPA, Public Policy) and Ryan Seawell (3.23 GPA, Economics) were Second Team selections, while Nolan Gallagher, Chris Lewis and Michael Taylor picked up honorable mention honors.

Minaker was a First Team selection for the third consecutive year, while Manship earned his third straight Second Team honor. Rapoport was picked to the Second Team for the second straight year, while Lewis earned his second honorable mention honor. All others were chosen for the first time.

To be eligible for selection, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade point average and be either a starter of significant contributor.
