Senior Ben Wildman-Tobriner (San Francisco, CA/Lick-Wilmerding) of the Stanford men's swimming team was selected as the Stanford/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Feb. 19-25.
Wildman-Tobriner helped the team to their 26th straight Pac-10 title, posting three individual titles over the four-day conference championship.The senior co-captain claimed victories in the 50 yard freestyle (19.23), the 100 yard butterfly (46.00) and the 100 yard freestyle (42.59), while also being part of four relay teams that took first place during the competition. For his efforts, Wildman-Tobriner was named the 2007 Pac-10 Swimmer of the Meet.
This is Wildman-Tobriner's first Stanford/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week honor. Wildman-Tobriner and the rest of the Stanford men's swimming team returns to action Thurs.-Sat., Mar. 15-17, at the NCAA Championships.
