STANFORD, Calif. - Redshirt junior Sho Nakamori of Albany, Calif., finished fifth on parallel bars at the World Cup held in Maribor, Slovenia on April 25-27.
Nakamori scored a 15.250 on p-bars. France's Yann Cucherat won the gold medal with a score of 15.900, and Uzbekistan's Anton Fokin claimed the silver medal and Slovenia's Mitja Petkovsek earned the bronze medal with scores of 15.750 and 15.650, respectively. France's Gael de Silva was fourth.
Nakamori was the only athlete representing the United States at the event.
