STANFORD, Calif. -

This week's live Stanford TV, radio and webcast schedule listed below.

Baseball
Stanford continues to have a few former players excelling in pro ball, with one, former Johnny Bench Award winner, Jason Castro, catching Saturday Night Live alum Will Ferrell in a promotional bit for the Triple-A Round Rock Express last week. Ferrell, playing the role of "Rojo" Johnson, recently released from prison where he was placed after buying and selling lizards, was caught by Stanford All-American Jason Castro. Check out the youtube.com video here.

Men's Basketball
Stanford was well-represented at the second annual High School Academic All-American Classic in Azusa, Calif., with incoming freshmen Anthony Brown, Josh Huestis and Dwight Powell leading the way as members of the National All-Stars roster. Brown finished with a game-high 24 points to go along with five assists and three rebounds and was named the game's Most Valuable Player. Powell contributed 17 points and grabbed six boards while also earning recognition as the Academic Player of the Year. Huestis added nine points, 12 rebounds and one block while being crowned champion of the halftime slam dunk contest. Participating student-athletes were selected based on the following criteria: grade point average, SAT/ACT scores, strength of high school curriculum, college selection, community service involvement, extracurricular activities and basketball ability. This year's participants had an average grade point average of 3.6.

Women's Basketball
Kayla Pedersen threw out the first pitch at the San Francisco Giants game against the Colorado Rockies on April 30 as part of the Giants' "College Night" promotion at AT&T Park. The Stanford women's basketball team - with 10 players and assistant coach Kate Paye present - was honored along with the Saint Mary's College men's basketball team. Pedersen and Saint Mary's center Omar Samhan received the first-pitch honors.

Men's Golf
Stanford heads into the NCAA Regional at Notre Dame's Warren Golf Course May 20-22 as the No. 1 seed. The regional is one of six in the country. The top five in each advance to the NCAA Championships on June 1-6 at the Honors Course in Chattanooga, Tenn. Stanford has won the title nine times, most recently in 2007.

Women's Golf
Stanford made seven birdies as a team over the final seven holes of the NCAA West Regional at Stanford Golf Course last weekend to earn its first trip to the NCAA Championships since 2007. Said coach Caroline O'Connor: "I am so proud of this team and the way we played over the last seven holes," said head coach Caroline O'Connor. "The putts started to drop on the back nine and our players began feeding off each other. It was like a light switch was turned on. We've believed in ourselves all season long and now we are seeing the results." The nationals will be held at Country Club of Landfall in Wilmington, N.C. from May 18-21. Stanford will be making its 19th trip to the NCAA's, where it finished as high as second in 2000.

Lacrosse
Stanford's 15-12 victory over UMass on Saturday in an NCAA Play-In Game at Lair Q. Cagan Stadium marked the first NCAA women's lacrosse playoff game ever played in California. It was also the first-ever win in the NCAA tournament for a team from the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation.

Women's Track and Field
Karynn Dunn made her heptathlon debut at the Pac-10 Championships and placed eighth to earn one team point for Stanford. Dunn, a hurdler and long-jumper by trade, took advantage of her overall athletic ability to help score for the team.

Softball
The Cardinal closes out the Pac-10 Conference season Thursday through Saturday as it plays host to Oregon at Smith Family Stadium. Stanford will honor its three seniors -- Alissa Haber, Shannon Koplitz and Rosey Neill - prior to the start of Saturday's game. All three have had an impact on the program and will end their careers ranked in the top-10 in several statistical categories in the Stanford record book.

Men's Volleyball
Stanford accomplished what every team tries to do - peak at the end of the season. As the season drew to a close, Stanford won its final 14 sets, ending the season with sweeps in four consecutive matches. Only two teams have ever won more consecutive sets while closing the season with an NCAA championship: UCLA in 1993 (17 sets) and in 1987 (16 sets).

Women's Water Polo
Stanford opens the National Collegiate Championship in San Diego on Friday at 4 p.m. against Pomona-Pitzer (18-14), the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference tournament champion. If the brackets hold true, top-seeded Stanford (24-2) would play No. 4 Cal in the semifinals Saturday at 4 p.m., and No. 2 USC in the final Sunday at 5 p.m. live on the CBS College Sports Network. Stanford is 3-0 against Cal this season and 2-1 against USC.
