All-Pac-10 Rowing Teams
STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford oarsmen Alec Levy and Dane McFadden were named to the All-Pac-10 Men's Rowing Team, the conference announced Thursday.
Thursday's announcement marks the first All-Pac-10 nods for both Levy and McFadden, who helped row Stanford's I Eight to a bronze medal at the Pac-10 Championships two weekends ago.
The duo will get back to competitive action with the I Eight in two weekends, hoping to bring home a national title to The Farm at the 108th IRA National Regatta from June 3-5 in Camden County, N.J.
Members of the All-Pac-10 Rowing Team are based upon each institution's finish in the I Eight Grand Final at the conference championships. The Pac-10 champion provides four members of the all-conference team, the second-place team sends three and the third-place crew provides two. All other participating conference crews contribute one member each.
