Stanford Women's Water Polo To Appear On National Collegiate Selection Show Monday At 3 p.m.

STANFORD, Calif. - A day after finishing the MPSF Tournament on a winning note with a 10-3 victory over California in the third-place game, the No. 1 Stanford women's water polo team will be featured in Monday's Selection Show webcast for the 2010 National Collegiate at 3 p.m. PT.

The 2010 National Collegiate Women's Water Polo Championship will be held from May 14-16 at Aztec Aquaplex on the campus of San Diego State University.

Stanford finished third at the MPSF Tournament in Los Angeles this past weekend, defeating California, 10-3, in the third-place game. The Cardinal will learn its draw Monday at 3 p.m. as it hunts for its second national championship.

UCLA captured the MPSF Tournament title and received the conference's automatic bid. Stanford is expected to receive one of the three at-large bids available in the eight-team field.
