STANFORD, Calif.- Both Stanford tennis squads were well-represented among this year's All-Pac-10 Team, as announced on Thursday afternoon by the league office.

On the women's side, Kristie Ahn was named Pac-10 Freshman of the Year while Lele Forood picked up her fifth Pac-10 Coach of the Year honor and second in as many seasons.

Joining Ahn as a First Team honoree was Hilary Barte, earning the fourth such selection of her career. Meanwhile, Mallory Burdette and Nicole Gibbs were named to the Second Team.

For the men, Bradley Klahn was named to the First Team while Ryan Thacher and Alex Clayton qualified for the Second Team. Klahn and Thacher were honored as the Doubles Team of the Year.

In other award news, Greg Hirshman claimed the NCAA Elite 88 Award for the second straight season. The Elite 88 Award is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average participating at the finals site for each of the NCAA's 88 championships. Baylor's Taylor Ormond was the recipient on the women's side.

Meanwhile, the ITA Regional award recipients were also recently announced. Stanford is a member of the Northwest Region and represented by the following regional award winners on the women's side: Lele Forood (Coach of the Year), Frankie Brennan (Assistant Coach of the Year), Hilary Barte (Senior of the Year), Nicole Gibbs (Player To Watch) and Kristie Ahn (Freshman of the Year). On the men's side, John Whitlinger has been recognized as the Head Coach of the Year. The national award winners will be announced May 25.
