BRYAN, Texas - Stanford wrapped up play on Saturday at the NCAA Championships, shooting a final round team score of 309 to finish 23rd in the 24-team event.
The Cardinal totaled 1,225 for the 72-hole event, 73-over par.
UCLA (1173; +21) edged Purdue (1,177; +25) by four shots to claim the team title, while LSU's Austin Ernst earned medalist honors with a three stroke victory over Kelli Shean of Arkansas.
Ernst's final round 66 was aided by an ace on the par-3 second hole.
LSU finished third at 1,181, followed by Virginia (1,186) and USC and Arkansas, which tied for fifth at 1,190.
Sally Watson was Stanford's top finisher in the event, tying for 45th place at 301 (+13). The sophomore birdied her second hole of the day, but s double bogey on No. 3 and a quadruple bogey 9 on the par 5 fifth hole led to a final round 79.
Rebecca Durham wrapped up her collegiate career with a final round 75 to tie for 74th at 307 (+19).
Freshman Marissa Mar carded a 79 on Saturday, suffering a double bogey on hole No. 2 and a triple bogey on the ninth hole. She tied for 74th place at 307.
Kristina Wong finished with a 76 on Saturday and tied for 95th at 311 (+23).
Junior Lila Barton tied for 123rd at 329 after a final round 83.
