STANFORD, Calif.- Bradley Klahn won his second straight singles match on Thursday afternoon at the 2011 NCAA Men's Tennis Championships, advancing into the round of 16.
Klahn defeated Texas A&M's Austin Krajicek 6-1, 6-4 in a rematch of their meeting exactly one week ago in the team round of 16, which the Stanford sophomore also won 6-4, 6-3. Earning All-America status for the second straight season, Klahn will now play North Carolina's Jose Hernandez on Friday at 10 a.m.
Klahn also won his first round doubles match, pairing with Ryan Thacher for a 6-1, 7-6 (5) triumph over Kentucky's Brad Cox and Eric Quigley.
