NORMAN, Okla. - Stanford men's gymnastics team finished fifth at the 2012 NCAA Championships, posting a final round team score of 352.650. Illinois captured the title, followed by Oklahoma, Penn State, Cal, Stanford and Michigan.

Eddie Penev took first on floor exercise with a score of 16.050.

This is the first time in seven seasons that a Thom Glielmi coached team finished lower than third. Still, with all his gymnasts returning for another season in 2013, the Cardinal will look to contend for another national title.

The following gymnasts will compete in Saturday's individual finals.
