2001 Track & Field Season: Redshirted, but competed at the U.S. Junior Nationals where he won the 10,000 meter title, and finished second in the 5000 meters to teammate Ian Dobson ... For his efforts, he was named to Team USA that competed at the Junior Pan Am Championships in Argentina in October.
