Stanford: One of the top runners in the nation with four All-American honors... Has anchored the men's distance program with outstanding performances in the postseason... Finished in the top-12 in all three of his NCAA Cross Country Championships... Also qualified for the NCAA Track & Field Championships during two of his outdoor seasons... A three-time team captain in cross country... Will continue to provide leadership and consistency in 2007-08.
2006 Cross Country Season (Junior) : Earned a second place finish and All-American honors at the NCAA Championships, helping the Cardinal to a fourth place team finish... Captured first place at the NCAA West Regional as Stanford finished in second place... Posted a third place finish at the Pac-10 Championships, leading the Cardinal to a runner-up finish... Finished fourth at the Pre-NCAA Invitational... Grabbed the top spot at the Stanford Invitational.
2005 Cross Country Season (Sophomore) : Stanford's top finisher and an All-American at the NCAA Championships after finishing 11th and leading his squad to a sixth-place finish... Placed eighth at the NCAA West Regional to guide the Cardinal to a runner-up team finish... Turned in a third-place performance at the Pac-10 Championships to help Stanford win its sixth-straight team title... Also finished sixth in the 8,000 meters at the Stanford Invitational as the Cardinal claimed wins in both races... A First-Team All-Pac-10 selection.
2004 Cross Country Season (Freshman) : The top freshman finisher at the NCAA Championship, placed eighth with All-American honors to lead Stanford to a sixth-place team performance... Finished third at the NCAA West Regional as Stanford claimed a 10th-straight team championship... Placed in the top eight finishers in all four races in which he competed, including a fifth-place performance at the Pre-NCAA meet.
2003 Cross Country Season: Redshirted.
High School: Indiana state champion in the 3,200 meters as a junior... 2001 and 2002 Indiana State high school cross country champion in addition to helping his team to the 2002 state championship... Two-time Footlocker national finalist with a fourth-place finish in 2002... Runner-up in the 3,200 meters at the 2002 Adidas Outdoor National Championships.
