Mariana began sailing her junior year of high school, and joinedStanford's team as a freshman. In 2005/2006 she won B division atNationals crewing for Taylor Grimes. Mariana enjoyed spending lastyear studying abroad in both Australia and Paris, but missed sailingtremendously and is excited to be back for the 07-08 season. "Beingabroad was an incredible experience, but it didn't feel right not tobe sailing."
