2005-2006: Varsity letter. Raced in Varsity 8+ that finished second at San Diego Crew Classic and Pacific Coast Rowing Championships
2004-2005: Walked on to Stanford Lightweight Crew as a sophomore. Rowed three-seat of Pacific Coast Champion Lightweight Novice 8+.
High School: Four-year cross-country runner. Three-year track runner. Club soccer player. National Merit finalist. Valedictorian.
Personal: Double major in Earth Systems and Anthropological Sciences. Post-grad goals include earning a Masters degree in Earth Systems from Stanford and saving the world. Spent last summer studying yellow starthistle biological control at Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve. Third place in Big Basin 50k ultra-marathon in August. Plays viola and is active in Stanford chamber music. Favorite books are Catcher in the Rye and Catch-22. Hobbies are hiking, backpacking, distance running, crosswords, and mushroom hunting. Sister Jessica is in grad school at Oxford. Parents are Monika and Mark Lee. Born in San Francisco, CA.
