Stanford/San Jose State To Host Silicon Valley Challenge Luncheon
Stanford University and San Jose State University will host the Silicon Valley Challenge Football Luncheon on Monday, September 27 at 11:45 a.m. at the Santa Clara Marriott. The cost is $30.00 per person. Stanford Head Coach Tyrone Willingham, San Jose State Head Coach Dave Baldwin and players from both teams will be in attendance. The event is open to the public.
The luncheon is part of a series of events centered around the 55th rendition of the Bay Area rivalry. The Stanford/San Jose State football game will be played on October 2 at Stanford Stadium with kickoff is set for 2 p.m. If you would like to attend the Silicon Valley Challenge Luncheon or for additional information about the event, please call the Stanford Football Office at 650-723-5665.
1999 Council of Chiefs Breakfasts
Join Stanford coaches and players for breakfast this fall. The Council of Chiefs, hosted by Bob Murphy, features previews of upcoming Stanford football games. The breakfasts are held on Fridays before every home game at the Shearton in Palo Alto. Breakfast starts at 7 a.m. followed by interviews with players and coaches.1999 Council of Chiefs Dates:

All Breakfasts are held at the Sheraton - Palo Alto (formerly the Holiday Inn) from 7 a.m. - 9 a.m.

Cardinal Huddle Football Luncheons
There are two opportunities to join Stanford Head Football Coach Tyrone Willingham for lunch this fall. The Cardinal Huddle luncheons will be held on Friday September 24 and Friday, October 15 from 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Dallmar Court in the Arrillaga Family Sports Center on the campus of Stanford University. The luncheons feature a preview of the upcoming game and interviews with Stanford coaches and players. The cost is $20.00 per lunch.
