Malcom MacNaughton was one of the most illustrious golfers to play on the early Stanford teams. By the time he graduated in 1931, MacNaughton had won the Pacific Northwest Golf Association Amateur, the California Intercollegiate and the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate Golf Association championships. His prominent career continued as an amateur golfer, winning the Northern California Golf Association championship in 1939 before serving as president of the organization in 1942. | |||||||||||
