Stanford University - Hall of Fame TEST

One of Stanford's earliest female Olympic medalists, Helser won gold as a member of the 4x100-meter freestyle relay team at the 1948 Summer Olympics in London. The Oregon native was a part of the Multnomah Athletic Club, dubbed ?Cody's Kids?, who from 1939 to 1948 won 58 individual national titles and three national team titles for International Swimming Hall of Fame coach Jack Cody. She is also a member of the Oregon Sports Hall of Fame.
