| One of the top power hitting first basemen in Stanford history, Rick Lundblade finished his Stanford career as the school’s all-time home run leader with 42 and ranked second all-time in career batting average and RBI. He was named a first team All-American and the Pac-10 Southern Division Player of the Year in 1985 after winning the division’s triple crown with a .408 average, 25 home runs and 92 RBI. Selected by the Philadelphia Phillies in the sixth round (148th overall) in the 1985 amateur draft, Lundblade played six seasons of professional baseball with three different organizations before retiring following the 1990 campaign. | |||||||||||
