STANFORD, Calif. - No. 11 Stanford women's rowing heads to Eugene for Saturday's inaugural Oregon State Classic.
Last weekend the Cardinal finished tied for third at the Lake Natoma Invitational, competing in the top group last Sunday with No. 1 USC and No. 2 California.
The three Cardinal boats (I Eight, II Eight, Four) will have a full day of action, facing off against crews from No. 18 Washington State, Oregon State, San Diego and Syracuse.
Action begins for the Cardinal at 9 a.m. Saturday against Syracuse with the Four going off, followed by the II Eights at 9:30 a.m. and I Eights at 10 a.m. After a break, all five schools will compete with race times at 2:30 p.m. (Fours), 2:45 p.m. (II Eights) and 3 p.m. (I Eights).
Saturday's event is Stanford's penultimate regular-season competition before May 18's Pac-12 Championships. The Cardinal will close the regular season with The Big Row next Saturday, May 4 at Redwood Shores.
