STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford women's lacrosse players Rachel Ozer and Anna Kim were named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association West/Mid-West All-Region team, as announced by the association Tuesday.

Ozer and Kim received second team all-region honors, marking the ninth consecutive year at least one Stanford player has been recognized.

After missing significant time during the 2012 season due to injuries, Ozer and Kim have had terrific 2013 seasons. The juniors have provided significant offensive contributions and helped lead a Stanford attack that has outscored opponents, 256-189.

Ozer scored in 17 of 18 games this season and leads Stanford in points (69), goals (47) and assists (22). She is six points shy of the Stanford single-season points record of 75, held by Hedy Born ('98).

Kim is second on the team with 42 points on 31 goals and 11 assists. She also ranks second on the team in draw controls with 53 and passed the previous Stanford single-season record of 52. Only teammate Megan Lerner has more, claiming 59 this season. Kim has claimed 98 draw controls in her collegiate career.

A total of 128 Division I student-athletes were honored with a selection on one of the All-Regional teams for 2013. These athletes are now eligible for inclusion on the IWLCA All-American teams, which will be announced on May 17.
