Arizona State (20-5, 9-4 Pac-12) – 12 • 23 = 35
Stanford (23-2, 12-1 Pac-12) – 32 • 29 = 61
• Stanford improved to 56-11 all-time against Arizona State and completed the season sweep of the Sun Devils with Friday night’s 61-35 win. The win is also Stanford’s 16th in a row against Arizona State.
• Friday night’s win also pushes the Cardinal’s lead atop the Pac-12 table to three games over the second-place Sun Devils. Stanford’s magic number for a first-round bye at March 6-9’s Pac-12 Tournament is now at 1 (either one more Stanford win or one more Oregon State loss).
• Stanford is now 8-1 against Top-25 opponents in 2013-14.
• Chiney Ogwumike posted her 22nd 20-point game and 19th double-double of the season with 20 points and 13 rebounds in just 24 minutes Friday.
• Arizona State’s 12 points at halftime matched the lowest first-half point total by a Stanford Pac-12 opponent. The previous time a Pac-12 opponent had managed just 12 points by halftime was by Washington on Dec. 28, 2007.
• Arizona State had no players score in double figures Friday night, the first time that has happened to a Stanford opponent this season. The last Cardinal opponent to not have any players score in double figures in a game was Washington State in a 72-50 loss to Stanford in Pullman on March 2, 2013.
• Arizona State’s 35 points for the game were just one point more than the lowest by a Stanford Pac-12 opponent. The record-low is 34 by Washington State in a 60-34 Cardinal win on Feb. 8, 2007.
• Arizona State’s 24.19 field-goal percentage (15-for-62) is the lowest by a Cardinal opponent this season. New Mexico also shot a 24.2-percent figure, but its 16-for-66 effort came out to 24.24 percent.
• Stanford went 0-for-4 from behind the arc Friday, the first time it had failed to hit a triple in a game since a 62-53 win at California on Jan. 8, 2013.
• Stanford had a season-low one blocked shot for the second straight game.
• Amber Orrange scored 14 points Friday night, her highest scoring total since hitting that total Jan. 10 at Utah. She also matched her career high with five steals.
• Chiney Ogwumike’s 20 points increased her career scoring total to 2,443, 48 points behind older sister Nnemkadi Ogwumike (2,491) for second place on Stanford’s all-time scoring list.
