STANFORD, Calif. -- Eleven Stanford track and field athletes earned both All-America honors during the 2013 indoor track and field season and All-Academic honors from the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation.

The MPSF list, just released, includes three members of Stanford’s NCAA men’s champion distance medley relay (Michael Atchoo, Marco Bertolotti, and Luke Lefebure) and three members of the Cardinal’s NCAA runner-up women’s DMR (Justine Fedronic, Amy Weissenbach, and Kristyn Williams).

The two All-Academic honorees with the highest GPA also both were All-Americans, and they share the same major: Eleven-time All-America Kathy Kroeger (3.91) and three-time All-America Lefebure (3.83) both are students in math and computational science.

Altogether, Stanford track and field placed 21 student-athletes on the MPSF All-Academic team.
Fourteen Stanford women and seven men were named to the team, which recognizes those of at least sophomore standing with cumulative grade-point averages of 3.00 and competed in at least half of each team’s meets during the indoor season.
