STANFORD, Calif. -- The Stanford baseball team finishes its 2015 season with a trip to Pullman, Washington, to face Washington State at Bailey-Brayton Field. Pac-12 Networks will carry all three games of the series.
Stanford (22-31, 7-20 Pac-12) looks to extend its four series winning streak over the Cougars, dating back to 2011. The Cardinal has not lost a series in Pullman since 2007.
Washington State (28-25, 10-17 Pac-12) has dropped its last three Pac-12 series since May 1. The Cougars pitching staff has been effective, boasting a 3.52 ERA, but the lineup is hitting just .242 overall, the worst mark in the conference.
Prior to Sunday’s game, Washington State baseball will recognize six seniors playing their final game, including Friday starter Sean Hartnett and Saturday starter Joe Pistorese. Stanford’s Chris Castellanos will look to spoil the festivities Sunday, after Brett Hanewich and Marc Brakeman take the Friday and Saturday starts, respectively.
Rich Burk and Dean Stotz have the call on Pac-12 Networks.
