Fourteen Named All-Academic

STANFORD, Calif. – Fourteen Stanford players were named to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic team – the most of any other school in the 10-team conference.

All three captains – Hannah Farr, Meredith Kalinowski, and Meg Lentz -- were among those recognized. So were both All-Americans (Adrienne Anderson, Lucy Dikeou), all three All-Region selections (Anderson, Farr, and Dikeou), and all five of Stanford’s eligible All-MPSF selections (Anderson, Dikeou, Farr, Lentz, and Rachel Ozer).

Junior defender Hannah Smith, a history major, had the team’s highest cumulative GPA: 3.86. Players must be at least sophomores academically, play in at least 50 percent of the team’s games, and have a cumulative GPA over 3.00 to be eligible.

Of those selected, Stanford had 10 players with GPA’s over 3.50 through the winter quarter, including five over 3.70.

Stanford finished 15-3 and won the MPSF regular-season and tournament titles before advancing to the NCAA tournament for the fifth time in six years.
