Karina Robinson Season 2015

As a Sophomore (2016): 

• Finished the season 5-11 with a 2-0 record in exhibition matches.
• Played all four matches on the opening weekend with Sidney Brown, going 2-2 (Mar. 5-6).
• Played the bulk of her matches with Tami Alade, going 2-7 and 2-0 in exhibition matches.
• With Alade, seven of 11 matches went to three sets.
• Went 0-2 with Alexis Froistad, adding an exhibition win against Oregon (Apr. 2).

As a Freshman (2015):

• Finished the season with a 3-7 record
• Mainly featured with Sarah Benjamin, with whom she went 3-6
• With Benjamin, reached the semifinals of the Norcal Invitational Pairs Tournament after winning two matches
• Went 1-4 in dual matches as an alternate

High School

• A 2014 graduate of Westwood High School in Austin, Texas
• Captained her indoor team as a senior
• Team was district champions in 2012 and 2013
• Reached the playoffs her sophomore, junior and senior seasons
• All-district setter as a senior in 2013
• All-district honorable mention as a junior in 2012
• Named academic all-district from 2011-13
• Earned academic all-state as a senior

• Played for Austin Performance Volleyball and Austin Juniors Volleyball

• Daughter of Moises and Cherie Robinson
• Has three younger siblings, Vanessa, Latham and Christian
• Interested in majoring in human biology and minoring in psychology and Spanish
• Contemplating a career as a physician
