- Salutatorian of his class at Arcadia HS
- Chose Stanford because "it offers a great combination of academics and student life. I was drawn to the variety of classes and the opportunity to learn from some of the best people in the world, but I also really liked the fun activities, friendly people, beautiful campus, and great food."
