Stephanie Wang Season 2016-17

2015 (Sophomore)
• Went 42-25 in the regular season for the sabre unit
• Finished 21st at the NCAA Championships with an 8-15 record
• Went 7-2 in pool play at the NCAA West Regional
• Defeated teammate Alexa Rohan in the final to win the NCAA West Regional and punch her ticket to nationals
• Had a 15-6 record at the Western Invitational
• Posted a 27-19 mark at the Northwestern Duals

2014 (Freshman)
• Posted a 35-28 record on the year 
• Placed third at the NCAA West Regional, defeating Megan Gesner of UC San Diego, 15-12, in the third place match 
• Lost to teammate Alexa Rohan, 15-12, in the semifinals 
• Compiled a 6-3 record at the regionals 
• Went 3-0 in four dual matches 
• Won two of her three contests in a dual with Northwestern 
• Recorded a 10-5 ledger at the Western Invitational, including wins in nine of her last 11 matches 
• Opened her college career with a 5-1 win over Northwestern’s Julia Abelsky
• Tallied a 17-19 record during the Northwestern Duals

National
• Represented the United States in World Cups
• Placed 55th at the 2011 Cadet World Cup in Konin, Poland 
• Finished 90th at the 2011 Cadet World Cup in Godollo, Hungary 
• Took home 29th in the 2012 Cadet World Cup in London, England 
• Placed 14th at the 2012 Junior World Cup in Phoenix, Ariz. 
• Claimed 78th overall at the 2012 Senior World Cup in Chicago 
• Notched a 36th place finish in the Division I women’s sabre at the 2013 December North American Cup

High School
• Graduated in 2013 from Monta Vista High School 
• Competed for the Cardinal Fencing Club from 2011-13 and the First Place Fencing Club from 2009-11
• Ranked 12th in the Cadet point standings and 15th in the Junior point standings for 2011-12
