• Became the fourth Cardinal fencer to win multimple national championships joining Nick Bravin (1990, 1992, 1993 men's foil), Felicia Zimmerman (1998, 1999 women's foil), and Felix Reichling (1999, 2000 men's foil)
• Went 20-1 at the Northwestern Duals, his only regular season appearance, leading Stanford to a 9-2 overall record
International
• Won gold medal in foil at 2017 Paris World Cup
• Won silver medal in men's foil at 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics, first fencing medal by USA since 1984
• Won bronze medal in men's team foil with Gerek Meinhardt and Miles-Chamley-Watson at 2016 Rio de Janerio Olympics, first medal by USA in event since 1932

• Won gold in the Division I men’s foil at the 2013 November North American Cup, posting a perfect 13-0 record at the event
• Claimed a silver medal at the 2013 December North American Cup, losing in the finals to the No. 3 seed after he had defeated the No. 4 seed Miles Chamley-Watson in the semifinals

As a Sophomore (2014)
• First Team All-American
• Bronze medal at the NCAA Championships
• NCAA West Regional Champion
• Tallied a 54-6 record on the season
• Won 20 of his 23 bouts in pool play at the NCAA Championships before losing in the semifinals, 15-9, to David Willette of Penn State
• Won his first nine bouts on the year
• Closed out the season with eight straight victories
• Captured his second straight regional title with a 15-8 win over Alex Chiang of Air Force, going 12-0 at the tournament
• Defeated Jeffrey Chan, 15-4, in the regional championship semifinals
• Allowed just 14 touches in 10 bouts during the pool round of the regional
• Guided the foil group to a 4-0 record at the Western Invitational with wins in all nine of his matches
• Did not allow a touch in his first four matches and only five total touches in his nine contests to start the year
• Went 13-2 at the Northwestern Duals, but did not compete on the second day

• Won the NCAA West Regional in his first season
