AT STANFORD: Fifth-year senior looks to regain the primary placekicking duties following the graduation of Derek Belch...was the starting placekicker in 2006 after originally making the team as a walk-on in 2004.

2007 (SENIOR): Served as the backup placekicker to Derek Belch...lone game action came in the first game, when he attempted an onside kick against UCLA.

2006 (JUNIOR): Led the team in scoring with 37 points...converted 8-of-13 field goal attempts and 13-of-15 PATs...kicked a career-long 37-yard field goal in the fourth quarter at Washington...also converted a 29-yarder in the second quarter to tie the game, 3-3...made his first career field goal try from 34 yards with 2:37 remaining in the first quarter at Oregon...made a career-high four PATs against San Jose State...missed his only field goal attempt from 40+ yards against the Spartans...scored the first Cardinal points in the new Stanford Stadium when he connected on a 22-yard field goal as time ran out in the first half against Navy...converted successful on-side kickoffs in back-to-back games at Arizona State and vs. USC...earned second team Pac-10 All-Academic honors.

2005 (SOPHOMORE): Did not see game action.

2004 (FRESHMAN): Joined the team as a walk-on and did not see game action.

HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL DATA: Graduated from Yellow Springs (Ohio) High School...was a three-sport standout in football, soccer and swimming all four years...earned all-conference honors in football as a senior...three-time all-district selection in soccer...competed in the 100 free and 100 breaststroke...served as class president and valedictorian...member of the National Honor Society...sister, Jessica, participated in soccer and track at Swarthmore College...philosophy major.
