Tim Wait enters his first season as recruiting assistant at Stanford, with primary responsibilities focusing on the management of the program's recruiting data base, transcript and film collection and assisting with on-campus visits.
Wait was promoted to his current position after serving as an intern on the staff during the 2008 and 2009 seasons.

Wait attended Moravian College in Bethlehem, Penn. where he earned his bachelor of arts degree in history in 2008. After playing running back his freshman season, Wait served for three years as a student assistant coach on the football staff, working closely with the defensive coordinator and defensive backs. He also assisted with film breakdown. His college head coach, Scot Dapp, was president of the American Football Coaches Association in 2005.

A native of Palo Alto, Calif., Tim attended Palo Alto High School, where he played football.
