- Sister, Kawelina, played soccer and rugby at Utah Valley University and BYU-Hawaii
- Brother, Alohi, plays for the Los Angeles Chargers
- The middle of seven children
- Hawaiian descent – grandmother is pure Hawaiian
- Attended same high school as former teammate Jet Toner
