• Appeared in all 12 games throughout the season, earning two starts
• Finished the season with 38 tackles (21 solo), two tackles-for-loss for 20 yards, and an interception
• Entered for injured Patrick Fields (on first defensive play) and tied for team lead with nine tackles (1 TFL) in Stanford's game against Washington State (Nov. 5)
• Recorded first career interception in the 125th Big Game (Nov. 19)

• Son of Asai and Keawe Gilman
• Father played football at Southern Utah University
• Has six siblings, Kawelina, Kaena, Alohi, Makana, Nui and Kealoha
• Sister, Kawelina, played soccer and rugby at Utah Valley University and BYU-Hawaii
• Brother, Alohi, plays for the Los Angeles Chargers
• The middle of seven children
• Hawaiian descent – grandmother is pure Hawaiian
• Attended same high school as former teammate Jet Toner
