• Coxswain in opening regatta against San Diego, racing in both the varsity eight and varsity four
• Coxswain at the Big Row in the lightweight team’s win over Cal’s openweight 4V8
• Helped Stanford to a sweep of UC San Diego as the coxswain with the varsity four
• Won the national championship in the varsity four at the IRA Championships as the coxswain

Prior to Stanford

• A 2020 graduate of Greenwich (Conn.) High School
• Rowed for Greenwich Crew and was team captain in 2019-20
• Won the lightweight 8+ at Youth Nationals in 2019
• First in lightweight 8+ at Northeast Regionals in 2019
• Second in 4+ event at Head of the Charles in 2018
• Won the club team points title for USRowing's Northeast Regional from 2017-19
• Club captured US Rowing Virtual Nationals and Virtual Northeast Regionals team points titles in 2020

Personal

• Parents are Kenneth and Melanie Garnett
• Has an older sister, Eleanor
• Competed in ballroom dancing from grades 3-12
• Silver level competitor in standard and Latin
• Member of Madrigals, an all-women's selection choir at Greenwich High
• Worked in a consignment shop in 2018 in which all proceeds went to charity
