As a Freshman (2020-21)

• Rowed in the 3 seat in the varsity eight against Saint Mary’s and San Diego, and in the 2 seat in the varsity four against Saint Mary’s
• 3 seat at the Big Row in the lightweight team’s win over Cal’s openweight 4V8
• Helped Stanford to a sweep of UC San Diego as the 3 seat with the varsity eight

Prior to Stanford

• A 2020 graduate of Stanford Online High School in Redwood City, Calif.
• Competed for Mercer Rowing from 2017-20
• Set a junior age group world record for the 1-hour erg 
• Eighth at the 2019 Youth Nationals in the lightweight 4+
• Second at the 2019 Mid-Atlantic Regionals in the lightweight 4+
• 10th at the 2018 Head of the Charles in the women’s youth eights
• Competed in golf until ninth grade
• Represented New Jersey at the Junior Girls PGA Championship
• Tied for 26th at the 2017 IMG Junior World Championship in golf
• Tied for fourth at the Northern Junior golf championship

Personal

• Parents are Kapoor Singh and Sushma Sushma
• Has an older sibling, Tej Singh
• Father competed in the 400-meter hurdles for India
• Born in San Jose
• Anticipates majoring in economics
• Elected Marlboro Teen Advisory Committee executive board member for five years, representing the voice of 2,000 youth members in the local government
• Co-founded Chip-in Change, a nonprofit that aims to improve the well-being of young professionals through virtual game nights and speaker-based fundraisers
• Served two years on U.S. Congressman Frank Pallone’s Youth Advisory Council (2018-20)
• Volunteered/fundraised for NAJC, a NJ based education-focused charity (2015-current)
