- Rowed all 11 races in the 2V8
- Rowed in the No. 7 seat in 10 races, and the No. 5 seat in another
- Was in the No. 7 seat on the 2V8 boat that won the C final in the IRA Championships
Prior to Stanford
- First rowed for the Fulham Reach Boat Club
- Broke the British under-12 100-meter and 500-meter Concept 2 records on the erg
- Held an average pace of 1:33.0 and 1:39.2 across the respective distances
- Began rowing through free lessons advertised for Fulham Reach, a charity based in West London
- Denied a place in his state secondary school of choice, was homeschooled until setting those British records and earning a rowing scholarship to Eton College
- Grew up on the White City Estate in the London borough of Hammersmith and Fulham
