Max Drach Season 2013-14

2013-14 (Freshman)
• Competed with the 2V8 and 3V8/Frosh Eight during the spring 
• Took fourth place with the 2V8 at the Pac-12 Championships 
• Earned wins over UCSD and UC Davis with the 3V8/Frosh eight at the Stanford Invitational 
• Lost to No. 2 Cal with the 2V8 in the Big Row 
• Claimed fourth place in the Men’s Open Grand Final with the 3V8 at the San Diego Crew Classic
• Lost dual races against Washington (2V8) and Oregon State (F8) 
• Made his collegiate debut with a pair of victories at the Davis Invitational, finishing first in the Novice Eight and Novice Four

High School
• Graduated in 2013 from Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, N.H. 
• Won the 2013 New England Interscholastic Rowing Association Championship  member of the swimming team as a junior and senior 
• Captain of the water polo team his senior year 
• Helped lead the water polo team to a NEPSAC Championship in 2012 
• Was named the water polo team MVP his senior season 
• Received the 2013 Phillip A. Lyster Award for sportsmanship
