Spencer Burdge Season 2016-17

• Graduated in 2016 from Tampa Preparatory School
• Captain of the rowing team his junior and senior year
• Guided the Terrapins to a pair of state championships (2013, 2015)
• Two-time scholastic national medalist (2014, 2015)
• Guided Tampa Prep to its first ever appearance in the Youth Nationals
• Rowed in boat the established school records in 2K, 6K and 10K
• Also played tennis for Tampa Prep, where he led the Terrapins to the 2012 district title
• Three-time recipient of the Tampa Prep Outstanding Contributor Award (2014, 2015, 2016)

• Sister, Taylor, rowed at Stanford for two seasons and was also a cyclist for the Cardinal
• Invited to the United States Junior National Team Selection Camp in 2014
• Mother was an All-American in squash, father rowed at Northeastern and Skidmore College
