  • Rowed in the 3 seat for the varsity eight at the IRA Championships, helping lead Stanford to fifth place in the grand final

Personal

  • Has twin older brothers, Jack and Charlie
  • Mother, Bonnie, played tennis at Kenyon College
  • Brother, Charlie, played lacrosse at Colorado College
  • Did not begin rowing until spring of his junior year in high school
  • President of Green Life, Culver Military's sustainability organization
  • Served as the Regimental Commander of Culver Military Academy, the highest-ranking position in the school's 450-person Corps of Cadets; responsible for all school military ceremoinies and daily military activities
  • Received the Batten Scholarship, a four-year, full-tuition merit scholarship to attend Culver academies, given to 2-5 students from around the world
