• Coxed the second varsity eight boat that topped Northeastern and fell to Wisconsin and Syracuse at the Pac-12 Invitational
• Coxed Stanford’s second varsity eight boat that earned a podium finish at the Pac-12 Championships

As a Sophomore (2020-21)

• IRCA National Scholar Athlete
• Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll
• Coxswain for the second varsity in the season opener against Washington
• Coxswain for the second varsity in head-to-head wins over Oregon State and Santa Clara, and in the Big Row against Cal
• Helped the second varsity to third place at the Pac-12 championships as the coxswain
• Coxswain for the varsity four at the IRA Championships, helping Stanford win the third level final

• Parents are Ricardo and Angela Gonzalez
• Has an older sister, Daniela
• Interested in becoming a political satire screenwriter
• Mother, Angela, is a pastry chef, which has influenced Valeria's love of baking
• Collaborated on a teen mental health awareness book called, "Just a Thought."
• Attended a school for global ethics and leadership in D.C. as a junior in high school
