Eleni Spirakis enters her first season as a graduate assistant with Stanford softball ahead of the 2022 season.
Spirakis played for the Cardinal during the 2021 season. She transferred into the program after graduating with a degree in mechanical engineering from Santa Clara. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics.
In her lone season at Stanford, Spirakis was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District team, the Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll and a NFCA Scholar-Athlete. She led the Cardinal in home runs (six) and RBI (33), while appearing in all 55 games. Spirakis split time between first base, second base and designated player.
A member of the Greek National Softball Team, she competed at the European Championships in 2017 and 2019.
