Andrea Kitahata Season 2023-24

As a Sophomore (2022-23)

• Joined the lineup in the postseason, playing at the No. 8 spot
• Won her first collegiate match, a sweep at No. 8 against Dickinson in the first round of the MASC tournament
• Finished with a 1-5 record, all at No. 8 in the MASC and CSA tournaments

As a Freshman (2021-22)

• Did not compete

As a Soccer Player

• All-Pac-12 second team as a redshirt freshman in 2022 for Stanford
• Member of the U.S. under-23 national team

Prior to Stanford

• Ranked as high as No. 4 in her age group in squash
• Played soccer for the San Jose Earthquakes Development Academy

Personal

• Born in San Francisco
• Parents are Ingrid DeMoor and Luther Kitahata
• Has two siblings, Garrett and Nicholas
• Grandfather, Masahiko Kitahata, was to compete for the Japan in the canceled 1944 Olympics
• Great grandfather, Jan DeMoor, played soccer for Ajax of the Netherlands in the 1920s
• Competes in squash and soccer at Stanford
