Richard Sheridan joined the Stanford women’s golf program as a volunteer assistant coach in the spring of 2022.
A PGA Golf Professional from England, Sheridan is currently Director of Instruction at The Olympic Club, which he joined in the fall of 2017.
During his career, Sheridan has gained international experience working for some of the most respected names in golf. His previous roles include Senior Instructor for the Butch Harmon School of Golf, Lead Coach for the Chinese Olympic Team and, most recently, Director of Instruction for the St. Andrews Links Trust.
A Class A PGA of America Golf Professional, Sheridan is also an advanced member of the PGA of Great Britain and Ireland and a rules official for the PGA of Great Britain and Ireland. He is Level I and Level II Junior TPI certified and also Level I, Level II and Operator Trackman certified.
