Meredith Kalinowski Season 2012

As a Senior in 2015:

• Part of senior class that finished with a 51-24 record with three NCAA appearances and two MPSF titles.
• IWLCA/Zag Sports Division I Academic Honor Roll.
• Team captain of team that led nation in scoring and draw controls.
• MPSF All-Academic team
• Second season as starter.
• Had two groundballs, two caused turnovers, and one draw control in 12-6 victory over USC.
• Versatile player who filled a variety of roles with the team.

As a Junior in  2014:

• Appeared in 18 games, all as a substitute.
• Recorded two goals and six assists.
• Took 12 shots, seven of which were on target.
• Named to the MPSF All-Academic team.

As a Sophomore in 2013:

• Started all 20 games and recorded 13 goals, four assists, 12 ground balls, nine draw controls and seven caused turnovers.
• Notched a goal, a ground ball and a draw control against San Diego State (April 21).
• Scored a goal, caused two turnovers and picked up a ground ball against Saint Mary's (April 10).
• Scored a hat trick and picked up two draw controls and a ground ball against No. 20 Denver (April 5).
• Tallied a goal and an assist against Temple (March 10).
• Scored a goal, caused two turnovers and picked up a ground ball against USC (March 8).

As a Freshman in 2012:

• Appeared in 14 games.
• Scored five goals and accounted for four draw controls and two ground balls.

High School:

• Named first-team All-Shore Conference in both 2010 and 2011.
• The Toms River South team MVP in 2009, '10 and '11.
• Named Academic All-America in 2011.
• Earned all-tournament team honors for the New Jersey South Women's Division.
• Holds the Toms River South records for career goals (268), single-season goals (99) and single-game goals (10).

Personal:

• Majoring in science, technology, and society with a focus in information technology, media, and society.
• Parents are Denise and David Kalinowski.
• Older sister Ryanne is a teacher in New Jersey, and younger brother Matthew played lacrosse at MIT.
• Was class president at Toms River South during her junior and senior years.
