Amy Brown begins her eighth year as the Director of Volleyball Operations in 2017-18. Her responsibilities include external relations and community outreach, accounting and travel. For the past seven seasons, she was also responsible for the marketing and fan experience of the program.

Brown joined the women's volleyball staff from the Stanford Athletics marketing department, where she was responsible for marketing efforts and game day presentation for the men's and women's soccer programs and also coordinated Stanford Athletics' community outreach program. Additionally, she assisted with marketing and game day presentation for men's and women's tennis, men's and women's basketball, baseball and softball.

Brown previously interned at Wilson Sporting Goods and was the recipient of the Wilson/ITA National Promoter of the Year award.

Brown, who hails from nearby Sunnyvale, California, received her bachelor's degree in sociology from Stanford in 2008 and master's degree in organizational leadership from Gonzaga in 2016. She is the granddaughter of legendary Stanford tennis coach Dick Gould and is the fifth generation in her family to attend Stanford, a legacy which reaches back over 100 years.
