Kate Topley joined the Stanford women's volleyball staff as its Director of Operations in February 2023.
Topley works closely with Stanford's external relations department, coordinates the team's travel, handles the accounting and program budget as well as assists with the team's community outreach efforts.
Topley came to The Farm after serving as the head coach and a learning specialist at Frederick Douglass High School in Lexington, Kentucky since 2020.
Topley also served as tournament coordinator and national coach for Lexington United Volleyball Club from 2012-2020.
A Kentucky native, Topley earned her bachelor's degree in Middle School Education, Science and English from the University of Kentucky in 2015. She added a master's in Learning and Behavioral Disorders in 2020 from Georgetown College and is currently working towards a EdS in Educational Leadership at Eastern Kentucky.
