Women's Golf Leads Peg Barnard California Collegiate

Stanford, Calif. - Stanford women's golfer junior Stephanie Keeverrecorded an even-par first round of 72 to put Stanford in first place atthe first day of the Peg Barnard California Collegiate. Held at Stanford,this two-day, two-round event hosts 11 schools April 15-16.

Junior Hilary Homeyer is tied for 11th place with a round of 75.Freshman Kim Rowton is tied for 14th with a round of 76, and senior JaeJeanRo is tied for 28th place with a first round of 78. Junior Salimah Mussaniis tied for 33rd place with a round of 79.

Stanford currently leads the field with a one-round total of 301.Washington, UCLA and USC are tied for second place with a total of 302.

The final round will be played Sunday, April 16th. Tee off is setfor 8:30 a.m.
