ST. LOUIS HEAD COACH DAN DONIGAN:
ON THE OVERALL MATCH:
"They worked extremely hard for the entire 90 minutes, so the credit goes to them. They are an opportunistic team and they're all over the field in numbers."

ON STANFORD'S GOAL:
"I didn't see the goal kick. Whatever happened doesn't make a difference at this point. That is part of the game and mistakes are going to happen. Levesque is a very opportunistic player and he got on the end of it and put the ball in the net. Roger did a great job on finishing the goal and it takes a special player to make those plays."

ST. LOUIS GOALKEEPER JOHN POLITIS:
ON ALLOWING STANFORD'S GOAL:
"It's just part of the game. There was no one thing that actually went wrong. It just so happened on the goal kick that Stanford's player was at the right place to play the ball."

ST. LOUIS FORWARD BRAD DAVIS:
ON HIS SHOT THAT HIT THE CROSSBAR IN THE FINAL FIVE MINUTES:
"I thought I had an opportunity. I just wanted to keep the ball down once I got the cross and I thought it was in when I hit it. Unfortunately, the goalie got a tip on it and made a great save."

STANFORD HEAD COACH BRET SIMON:
ON HIS TEAM'S OVERALL PERFORMANCE:
"I feel very fortunate to be here, Saint Louis is the best team we've seen all year and one of the best in college soccer. I think it was a wonderful soccer game and a game where every player on our team gave it their best. I'm very proud of the guys. It makes me overjoyed for them for what they've accomplished this season."

STANFORD FORWARD ROGER LEVESQUE:
ON HIS GOAL:
"I think the field was really choppy and it made it tough to play on. The goalie had a free kick and he just played it right to my chest. I took the ball and dribbled to the goal and I knew I had to get rid of it really quickly. I took the touch and hit it towards the goal and it was fortunate enough to go in."

STANFORD DEFENDER LEE MORRISON:
ON STANFORD'S DEFENSE:
"There were times when I felt we were just defending the whole time. That's a credit to them because they kept moving the ball around and we just kept knocking it out and it was a back-and-forth battle. Their guys are dangerous and quick, but we held together and held strong."

ON ADVANCING TO THE COLLEGE CUP:
"I'm elated. That was my last game on that field and I can't think of a better way to finish my career at Stanford. I thank Roger for scoring the goal and Andrew for saving the goal. My hat goes off to the team and I'm ecstatic."

ON HIS RETURN FOR THE COLLEGE CUP:
"I'm greatful to have two shots at a final. We have the semifinals to focus on and that's what we'll do this week and go from there."

STANFORD GOALKEEPER ANDREW TERRIS:
ON SAINT LOUIS' NEAR GOAL AT THE END:
"I think it was a cross that got knocked out and I saw the bouncing ball. He came up and hit it one time and I was just able to react and get a hand on it. It happened so fast, I just reacted to it. We've been working on things like this all season long with Coach Zawislan. The hard work payed off tonight."
