PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) - Senior center Cori Enghusen (Bothell, WA/Inglemoor HS) had a career-high 24 points to lead fourth-ranked Stanford University (17-1 overall, 7-0 Pac-10) to a 104-57 road victory over Washington State University (2-16, 0-8) on Thursday night at Beasley Coliseum.

Enghusen, who easily shattered her previous career-high of 14 (March 19, 2001), was 11-of-15 from the field in 24 minutes of action. The 6-foot-7 Enghusen also added four rebounds, two blocked shots, a steal and an assist.

"Cori has been playing great in practice," Stanford head coach Tara VanDerveer said. "Hopefully this was a breakout game for (Cori). If she continues to play like this, she can really take us to the next level. I'm thrilled with the way she played, and need her to put this effort in the bank and build on it."

The Cardinal finished with five players in double figures, as it shot 61.8 (42-of-68) percent from the floor and 66.7 (12-of-18) percent from 3-point range, Senior Lindsey Yamasaki (Oregon City, OR/Oregon City HS) added 14 points in just 17 minutes, while senior Bethany Donaphin (New York, NY/Horace Mann HS) and Enjoli Izidor (Seattle, WA/Roosevelt HS) added 13 points apiece and freshman Azella Perryman (Anchorage, AK/East HS) chipped in career-highs of 10 points and 13 rebounds. No Stanford starter played more than 17 minutes in the easy win, and 10 of the 11 players reached the scoring column.

Stanford's 104 points was its largest since it scored 108 against Arizona on Feb. 28, 1998 (108-90), and the margin of victory was the largest since it also defeated San Francisco by 47 points (101-54) on Nov. 26, 1997.

The Cardinal has now won nine straight, while Cougars have lost 13 in a row.

"We played very well," VanDerveer said. "We got on a roll early, and hit some 3-pointers. It was also nice to rest a lot of the people who have been playing major minutes."

Stanford led from start-to-finish, including a 5-0 run in the opening 63 seconds. Freshman T'Nae Thiel (Weatherford TX, Weatherford HS) converted a lay-up 34 seconds into the contest, and senior Lindsey Yamasaki (Oregon City, OR/Oregon City HS) followed with a 3-pointer just 29 seconds later. The Cardinal went on to make 10 of its first 11 shots, including its first four 3-pointers, to take the visitors out of the game early.

Stanford later used a 12-0 run to stretch a 17-10 advantage to 29-10 just 9:54 into the contest. The Cardinal then broke the game wide open with an 11-0 run in the closing moments of the first half that gave it a 50-16 lead. Stanford went on to lead 53-21 at the break.

The Cardinal shot 67.7 (21-of-31) percent from the floor in the first half, including 77.8 (7-of-9) percent from 3-point range. All 11 Stanford players saw action in the first half, and nine found the scoring column. Yamasaki led the way with 12 points, while Enghusen added eight. The second half was more of the same, as Stanford cleared its bench with over 12 minutes to play. Washington State could get no closer than 32 (55-23) points in the second half, as the Cardinal extended its lead to as many as 50 (99-49).

The Cardinal concludes this two-game trip on Saturday afternoon when it visits the University of Washington (10-7, 5-3) at 3:00 p.m. at Bank of America Arena.
