April 22, 2002

Stanford, Calif. - The Stanford women's soccer team scored two quick goals and held USC scoreless to pick up its second win of the spring season, 2-0, on Saturday afternoon. Marcie Ward (Alamo, CA) and Marcia Wallis (Los Gatos, CA) netted goals for the Cardinal.

Stanford got on the scoreboard early with a headed goal from Ward that was assisted by Wallis' right wing cross. The second score came shortly after on a corner taken from Alisan Pabon (Dallas, TX).
